Kerala Kala Samskarika Vedi (KKSV), Itanagar celebrated Onam at Siddhardh Hall, Itanagar on 24th September, 2016. Hon’ble Minister for Home & RWD Shri Kumar Waii, and Superintending Engineer, PWD Capital Circle Shri Ratu Techi, attended the celebration as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. In his inaugural address, Shri Waii stressed the need for preserving the tradition and culture to keep ones identity. He added, celebration like Onam festival creates a sense of oneness and brotherhood.
While addressing the gathering, Shri Ratu Techi acknowledged the contribution of Keralites in the developmental process of the hill State.
Public meeting, Cultural programmes, Mega comedy show by mini screen artists from Kerala were the highlights of the programme.
